Our Core Values
Patient-Centered Partnership
We treat you as the expert on your own body. Whether you're navigating perimenopause fatigue, low libido from andropause, or stubborn weight tied to insulin resistance, we listen to your story—symptoms, goals, and lifestyle. No cookie-cutter approaches; it's a true collaboration for lasting results.

Root Cause Focus & Personalized Healing
We go beyond symptoms to address what's really driving them—hormonal imbalances, stress on your HPA axis, or metabolic slowdowns. Every plan is tailored, drawing from labs, history, and factors like diet and exercise, for holistic healing.

Integrity & Evidence-Informed Care Transparency
Trust is everything. We draw from reliable, well-researched approaches and share information openly and honestly. You'll always get clear explanations about options, realistic expectations, and any important considerations—no exaggerated promises, just straightforward guidance to help you make confident choices on your wellness journey

Empowerment Through Education Knowledge
Understanding your own health is powerful. We explain things in simple, everyday language so you can feel informed and in control. Whether it's learning about lifestyle tweaks, how certain supports work with your body, or why small consistent changes add up, our goal is to equip you with knowledge that helps you thrive long-term.

Compassion & Whole-Person Respect
We see you fully—body, mind, emotions. Hormonal shifts can hit mood and intimacy; weight issues often stem from emotional roots or past traumas. We approach with empathy, no judgment, respecting your culture and values.

Every BODY is Different
Everyone's dosage for weight loss and hormones is individual: What works for one person might not be effective for another. YOU may only need the lowest dosage of GLP-1 (like semaglutide or tirzepatide peptides, which mimic gut hormones to signal fullness and stabilize blood sugar) to obtain the healthy results that you want. Your friend may need to be on a higher dosage. Each plan is tailored to each person individually.

BMI (Body Mass Index)
BMI is not a perfect measurement for health, however it is the only objective data we have via telemedicine. BMIs that are too high and too low can cause significant health risks. People over the age of 60 actually need to have higher BMIs to help maintain bone health and muscle mass to increase longevity, decrease morbidity, and decrease the risk of bone fractures.

Safe Weight Loss & Weight Loss Maintenance
Safe weight loss is approximately 0.5lb-1.5lb/week. Losing weight too quickly leads to decreased muscle mass and decreased bone density. The faster you lose weight, the faster the weight will return. Safe weight loss is a journey, not a sprint.
Once you are at your goal composition (and BMI will also be taken into consideration) for your age, we will focus on weight loss maintenance. Many studies show that patients who stop taking peptides like GLP-1s without titration or a maintenance period will gain the weight back very quickly. Some people will need to remain on this medication for the rest of their lives at a very low dosage. Please be aware that this might be you, but we will not know prior to starting the medication.

Muscle Mass Maintenance
When using weight loss medications, it is IMPERATIVE to maintain muscle mass and continue or start resistance training and increase protein intake. The more muscle mass you have, the more fat you will burn. Muscle mass protects our bones. Resistance training protects our bones and heart. We will also discuss peptides to maintain or increase your muscle as you lose weight.

Weight Issues are Emotional
Many of us grew up in times that "skinny" was considered beautiful. This ideal haunted and traumatized many people beginning in adolescence and continues to be a voice in the back of our heads blaming all of our problems on our weight. There can be emotional trauma, shame, sadness surrounding weight and body image.
Medical weight loss should not be used to become "skinny." It is used as a tool to aid in healthy weight loss and reach healthy body compositions with a focus on resistance training. The number on the scale and BMI do not show "health." Composition of lean muscles, skeletal muscles to visceral fat, and fat percentage should be the main focus.
