What Is LL-37?
LL-37 (also known as human cathelicidin or the active fragment of hCAP-18) is a naturally occurring 37-amino-acid peptide produced by your immune cells—neutrophils, macrophages, epithelial cells, and others. It forms a key part of the body’s innate immune defense system.
